With a growing national reputation and three consecutive number one hits in the iTunes alt charts, The Mercians have firmly established themselves as one of the UK’s most exciting grassroots acts. Their single “Is It Worth It?” peaked at #2 in the iTunes Alternative Chart and broke into the UK iTunes Top 100, while streaming favourites “Leave Your Man” and “Sunday” have each racked up close to a million Spotify streams.
Other standout tracks include “I Don’t Mind”, “Dreamseller”, and their punchy 2025 release “54321” - all helping the band surpass 1.7 million total streams across platforms.
They now return with their latest single, “Blue”, showcasing a bigger, more refined sound while keeping the raw energy that’s made their live shows so talked about.
